After the humans wiped out most of the wolf population in Ireland, the wolves fled to a disclosed location, untouched by the bipedal monsters.

River Aage Empty

River Aage

The river that allows much of those in the Threshold to thrive and survive is clean, fresh, and a lovely place to spend one's spare time. Its banks are normally a mixture of sand and smooth, worn river rock, but there are areas where it can be a sheer drop straight into the churning froth, so it is best to be cautious unless one is certain it's safe. As it enters the Forest, it cuts deeper into the earth to create a ravine, an area called the Suture. While these areas have different names, they are both the same river.
