| The Suture
Downriver As River Aage descends from its mountainous origins in the Threshold, it cuts into the depths of the forest. Eventually it plunges to depths that create somewhat of a ravine, carving its watery passageway through the earth and stone. This area of River Aage is dubbed the Suture. This are is covered with foliage, varying from trees and shrubs to the hardiest grasses. The river itself is oftentimes buffered by stony, sandy, and muddy banks, accessible by well-hidden, winding paths which jut out of the rock faces. There are several caves tucked into the ledges, just out of reach of the flood-line and offering the perfect amount of shelter for those who might wish to call the Suture home. There is plenty of water, shelter, and even prey, tempted to venture down in search of the freshest source of water and the prolific foliage that accompanies it. pictures (c) google | |
